The touch spring is a micro-mechanical system based on the principle of elasticity, which is controlled by electric or magnetic fields to realize the vibration and rebound of the spring. Touch spring has high sensitivity, fast response, linear output and other excellent characteristics, can be widely used in sensing, measurement, feedback and control fields.


The basic structure of the touch spring consists of two metal plates with a layer of elastic material sandwiched between them. The vibration and rebound of the spring depend on the charge of the metal plate and the force of the magnetic field, so electronic devices are needed to control the movement of the spring. The touch spring can be used to measure and control the signal by means of pressure sensor and acceleration sensor.


The touch spring is mainly used in the sensing, measurement, feedback and control fields of micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) technology, such as pressure sensors, vibration sensors, accelerometers, inertial navigation systems, sound detectors, etc. In micro-electromechanical systems, touch springs can also be used in micro-electromechanical switches, vibration generators, mechanical energy converters, etc.


Touch spring can control the vibration and rebound of the spring by electric or magnetic field, which can realize high-precision signal detection and control, and has a wide application prospect. In the field of sensing, touch springs can be used to measure pressure, temperature, flow, etc. In the mechanical field, it can be used to control the movement of robotic arms, robots, etc., to achieve accurate position and attitude control. In the biomedical field, touch springs can be used to make biochips, microfluidic chips and so on.


Although touch spring technology still faces some challenges, such as high cost, complex processing and other problems, but with the progress of technology and the continuous expansion of application scenarios, touch spring is expected to become one of the important application technologies in micro-mechanical systems.
