The basic working principle of the spring machine can be divided into five parts: straightening mechanism, feeding mechanism, reducing mechanism, pitch control mechanism, cutting mechanism and so on.


First, straightening mechanism: the straightening mechanism is located between the material frame and the feed roller, which is composed of two groups of straightening rollers, the purpose of the straightening system is to eliminate the original bending deformation of the steel wire, after straightening, it can be straight into the forming machinery, in order to improve the accuracy of the spring.


Second, the feeding mechanism: the feeding mechanism is a device that depends on one or two pairs of feeding wheels to press the steel wire, and drives the steel wire to advance in a straight line by the rotation of the feeding wheel. The gear on the feeding wheel shaft is driven by incomplete fan-shaped gear. The speed of the upper and lower rollers is the same, but the rotation direction is opposite. The feeding wheel rotates once, the feeding length is the circumference of the feeding wheel, the expansion length of the spring can be determined by the number of rotating rings of the feeding wheel, and the number of teeth of the incomplete sector gear is the number of rotating rings of the feeding wheel (specific reference table).



Reducing mechanism: The reducing mechanism refers to the control mechanism of the outer diameter of the spring when winding the spring, which is composed of two top rods and the reducing CAM that drives the top rods. When producing cylindrical springs, the spring wire does not change, adjust the two ejector rods to the corresponding position, in line with the external warp size of the spring, and then fix the two ejector rods unchanged. When producing variable diameter spring, such as the convex, truncated conical spring, the two bolts before and after the top bar are loosened, so that the top bar is telescoped back and forth in the tool holder to change the outer diameter of the spring, and the top bar is driven by the reducing CAM to achieve the purpose of producing various variable diameter springs.


Four, the pitch change mechanism: the pitch change mechanism is the mechanism that controls the spring pitch, the machine has two kinds of mechanisms:

(1) consists of a pitch cutter and a variable pitch CAM. The variable drama CAM controls the number of effective turns of the spring, and the bolt under the pitch cutter adjusts the height of the spring.

(2) The connecting rod is driven by the CAM, so that the pitch knife is pushed out from the machine, and the spring with large pitch is better estimated.

Fifth, cutting mechanism: cutting mechanism is wound forming, cutting wire is the spring fall of the last processing action, cutting through the knife and core to complete.
